To feel a bit queasy?

Pfb just lost her first tooth. I was not prepared for there to be blood Envy. At first we couldn't locate the tooth but then I spotted it stuck in her pj. I felt decidedly queasy when I picked it up but congratulated dd who was very pleased with it all. Aibu to be such a lightweight? Grin

I can handle lots of things - injections, cuts, bumps, puke, snot - but wobbly teeth give me the boak.

YANBU!

So, not unreasonable? Not one bit? Wink

Absolutely not unreasonable. However you do have to be prepared to it to get far, far worse, teeth-falling-out wise.

YANBU

I nearly passed out when one of my DDs caught me off guard and excitedly showed me how she could twist one of her wobbly milk teeth right round and round in the gum! Aaarrgghh!

The trick is to learn to hide the horror and grin and bare it :)

Grin eponas, that would have made me nearly fain too.

How much worse can it get tooth falling out wise? Confused

Teeth falling out are nothing, wait til you find your DC sitting on the floor unable to get up because their kneecap has dislocated and is at the side of their leg - now THAT made me queesy!

Letshavesomeicecream · 29/04/2015 22:11

Urg, gin, that sounds awful. Hope your dc is ok Thanks.

I once yanked out a milk tooth. It wasn't even really wobbly, just sat in front of a mirror for half an hour until it popped out. I was at my grandparents at the time, they did not appreciate the story and blood that followed.

Loose teeth as a kid is brilliant fun, but yes, I'm dreading my kid doing the same. It will be karma in my case!

I can't bear wobbly teeth or bleeding gaps in gums. Just makes me feel faint and sick.

Not a good thing for a primary school teacher to suffer from, the little blighters were losing teeth on a daily basis.

YANBU.
I can still recreate that feeling of biting on a wobbler, and it shooting off in a random direction whilst still attached by a thread. Eurgh.
Does anyone know what I mean?
