TV news from schools early in the morning.

Is it just me with a problem with this? No real reason. I just think about all the children having to get up at 5 in the morning to go to school and pretend to work in the background while some suited tosser waffles on about education policies.

Can we ban it? Or do I have to take it up with the suited tossers themselves?

I don't even have time to watch tv in the morning, never mind get my kid to school that early.

But when the schools were all off on strike last year, my dds school was the only one that was open. (It never closes for anything) and we were watching the news that night when I realise dds face is on screen and they are doing a report from her classroom. Was such an omg! moment :o

Of course they seemed nice, Blue. They wouldn't want anyone cutting up rough and asking about the rules. Smile The school might well have got some 'free' photos as well? It always amazes me how pathetically grateful adults can be for some tiny freebie from a TV company.

(They had to provide food as well.)
