I can't see any other threads about this, but apologies if there are.
I've just seen this on Twitter and can't get my head around it not being a spoof.
I don't even know where to start picking out the gems. There is nothing in it approaching sane policy, and the contradictions are amazing
Under education, they want to introduce all-boys schools, with all-male staff
Then under employment, they want to remove the ability to specify gender for certain roles

They really are deluded aren't they

(shakes head sadly)

Never mind, when we (women) rule the world we will treat them with the compassion that they have treated women over the ages. . . (genital mutilation, rape, kill 2 of them a week, pay them less, harass them in the street etc etc)

Or is it that which scares them, that if women ever did achieve that power (rather than just the equal rights that feminists want) that we would do to them what has been done to us for generation after generation???

foreverdepressed · 23/04/2015 19:04

ApocalypseThen
I'm not going to read through 80 pages of what is mostly bullshit to give you loads of 'valid' points.... but there are one or two.

For example, I the point about circumcision or 'male genital mutilation' as they call it.

^Male genital mutilation – MGM – is a human rights issue too, but boys are not accorded the same rights to protection as girls. It is right to be concerned about girl’s rights not to have their genitals mutilated, and it
is right to be concerned about boys’ rights not to have their genitals mutilated. ^

I would tend to agree with that. Biscuit

Another one is suicide - an issue that does seem to impact more young men than any other category but seems to go unnoticed.

Casimir · 23/04/2015 19:10

At birth, males have an average life expectancy of 78.8 years, females 82.8 years – 5.2% higher than males. At the age of 65, men have an average remaining life expectancy of 18.3 years, women 21.0 years – 14.7% higher than men

SmellsLikeSurgicalSpirit · 23/04/2015 19:10

It's one of the more sickening, misogynistic, victim-blaming (the Rochdale victims were asking for it,apparently as well as DV victims quoted by a PP above) homophobic pieces of drivel I've had the misfortune to skim before my bile rose too far.

I'd like to kick this privileged straight, white male from here to kingdom come.

MagicMojito · 23/04/2015 19:16

I saw an interview with him on this morning a few months back. Nobody could keep a straight face. It was quite funny to watch actually.

PeachyPants · 23/04/2015 20:19

foreverdepressed I don't agree with male circumcision, I think it is an awful practice and it's tolerated because of the power of mainstream religious groups however the health consequences of FGM are in general far more severe. It's actually middle aged men who have the highest suicide rates but yes the rate amongst men is significantly higher than amongst women, partly because men tend to choose more lethal methods. I'd take issue with the idea that it goes unnoticed, mental health services have launched numerous targeted initiatives and it is recognised as a problem.

RufusTheReindeer · 23/04/2015 20:27

I read quite far and then had to stop

I felt like crying or throwing my ipad through the telly...and I don't cry

AldiQ7 · 23/04/2015 21:16

It's just the rambling a of some bonkers bloke who is pissed of at his ex wife isn't it?

I always feel a little bit sorry for people at the extreme like this - to be carrying around all that hatred, bitterness and bile all day every day must be exhausting. I feel the same about the Britain First/EDL types (imagine having nothing better to constantly post about on FB than shitty racist memes), and also some small sections of feminists as well.

AyeAmarok · 23/04/2015 22:46

Interesting.

He feels that women should not work, and certainly shouldn't work in the well paying STEMM careers. Womensshould stay home, raise children until secondary school age, and men should work and benefit from both of their tax free allowances.

However, once they split up, the assets should be split by who brought what into the marriage, and the wealth and assets acquired during marriage should be split according to each partner's financial contribution. So man gets everything and women get nothing.

Rightio then Hmm

rallytog1 · 24/04/2015 07:41

Not only that Aye, but if he then runs out on her, she would be forced to compensate him for his share in the family home!

goodnessgraciousgouda · 24/04/2015 08:03

Oh god, what a bunch of sociopaths.

sparechange · 24/04/2015 10:03

It is just so full of holes!
He talks about divorce laws being a 'disincentive' on men to marry and that is why there are fatherless families, but then says women chose to be single mothers because of the state?
Which is it?! Are we unable to trap these poor men for fear of them losing everything in a divorce, or are we not remotely interested it in the first place?

Trouble is I can't tyoe what I really think

If we were discussing this face to face I'd be a lot more eloquent ( ok a bit more) but I just can't find the words on here

It's just the fact that there are people that actually believe that stuff

All the massive perks us violent sexually abusive women get because we force the mainly male lawmakers and polititions to do exactly what we want...who knew

Although I do agree with the male circumcision bit

Andrewofgg · 24/04/2015 11:03

I would rather have these types allowed to stand for Parliament if they have £500 to waste on the deposit than have somebody decide who should and who should not be allowed to.

Same with the NF a generation ago, and the BNP now, and all the other loonies and losers who will stand, especially in high profile seats such as CC's and EM's.

All part of the democratic process.

But stay off the website it is probably booby-trapped to treat every visitor as a supporter.

OfaFrenchMind · 24/04/2015 11:25

I like that most of it's sources are Wikipedia... this is clearly very scientific.

UnoPan · 24/04/2015 11:38

Oh the 'party leader' turned up here after being on Womens Hour a few days previously. He was dealt with fairly rigorously here (which I suspect he enjoyed a bit too much) and with a bit more swearing than Jenny Murray was allowed to use.....

it's prob. only worht reading this shite for the comedy value and in case anyone wishes a trigger to unleash some acts of serious violence.

UnoPan · 24/04/2015 11:40

But also, I'd suspect they are not very far at all from large sections of UKIP - vote UKIP and you'll get this stuff eventually.

Sorry, my initial post was very poorly written. Sad I was trying to make dinner at the same time. Blush

Do you mean gin the drink? Confused I like sloe gin.

In all seriousness though I really felt sad, angry and almost physically sick within a very short time of reading the link. It's utter, utter crap. Angry

slug · 24/04/2015 12:20

Please stop referring to this 'party' as "they".

It's just one man.

The same man who wrote this piece of literature

slug · 24/04/2015 12:21

Actually, I think I'm most offended by his inability to identify a proper noun.

Capital letters Mike????

DamFineBeaver · 24/04/2015 12:25

This.

But yes, the mind boggles. Incoherent, aggressive nonsense. Wish I hadn't been on the website now...

sparechange · 24/04/2015 13:22

slug
They've got three candidates standing. That means two other people as brain dead as the idiot founder. The mind boggles

People like this have no understanding of feminism. Feminism is not to blame for male suicide rates. Perhaps the author should look towards the patriarchy which harms both men and women.
