I'm in a bus, just looked out the window and saw that in the car next to us there was a woman feeding a baby (whilst holding it) in the back. I'm not being stupid am I?! That's totally unacceptable in ANY circumstance, surely?!

Of course it's best to keep DCs strapped in to their seats when the vehicle is moving. I imagine the baby was screaming and hungry and woman lifted it out for a feed. Perhaps the driver wouldn't stop? Perhaps they were just prepared to take the risk?

At least they had a car seat. I've seen people pile into a car with young kids with no seats a few times :( There are parents and GPs who think 'a quick journey on local roads' is ok for no car seat.

You're right that it's not right, but it's no shock that it goes on OP.
