WIBU to wear exactly the same outfit to two weddings?

I went to a colleagues wedding last year and wore a quite distinctive ensemble which is a slightly more dressy version of my usual style (think hippy). I have another wedding this year... another colleague (who I spent most of the time with at the previous wedding) and am considering wearing the exact same thing as it fits really well with the ' 'theme' (nothing overtly costume like but the general idea).
Would this be a faux pas? Some of the guests will be exactly the same as last year and obviously there will be photos etc.
Needless to say, dh will wear the same suit and no one will notice/care.

I wore the same outfit to two weddings that were only a week apart. I'm not into clothes so either buying or trying to put together an outfit from what I already have is such a bore!

Wear it, don't worry about it and have a good time. Agree with what someone said earlier, if anyone is going to judge you for it they should get a life!

Surely everyone wears clothes more than once? I don't get why this is an issue?

I would wear it again. Maybe wear your hair differently and change the accessories. I'm trying to be disciplined and go the capsule wardrobe route. It's amazing how you can change an outfit just by wearing different colour shoes and adding a scarf/wrap etc

I wore the same outfit to 6 weddings although they were completely different & mainly unconnected groups of people.

Go for it, if it bothers you slightly then accessorize it differently.

Man here, worn the same outfit to last 5 weddings (including my own) and a couple of funerals. Hope that helps!

Wear it! I always wear the same to to these kind of things as they're not the sort of places I enjoy shopping for.

Saying that, I probably wouldn't even notice if it was the the bride who has worn the same thing twice!

It has never occurred to me that you might need a new outfit for each wedding! Wear the dress you enjoy and look good in.

I only have one wedding suitable dress. Its s been to all weddings ive been too. Just wear the dress. Eyes will be on the bride not you!

I know people who absolutely would not do this at all and I have never understood it. I hate when I have a lovely outfit but not many places to wear it. I definitely would wear the outfit again.

My auntie has wore the same dress to every wedding for the past 12 years, beautiful dress and never dates. Funny at first now it's just a given and she looks gorgeous :-)

I've worn the same three outfits on rotation at 'do's for 6 years. I like them, they look good, and I don't have to waste money on yet more accessories!
