There is a lot of threads about horrible children.

My little girl is a lovely polite child and people are always nice enough to say how well behaved she is. I only have one, so for me I suppose it's easier.

She is very good at waiting. Only the other day we was in the bank for an hour and she was as good as gold. She is good leaving parks and play houses and even eats vegetables! !! Can take her shopping with me for food and things no problem. She is also good at sharing.

Despite being a hormonal 13 year old my ds tells me he loves me every day and regularly that I am the best mum in the world Grin

Ds1 is 13 and asks me most Days why I am so beautiful Grin

Frasras11 · 11/04/2015 23:37

DS gives me a face massage! He's so cute when he does it and I have to say it's quite relaxing. He's only 3 and a half so no idea where he learnt his technique!

My DS sucks the chocolate of peanuts for me then insists I eat them Shock
My dd draws comic strips where I am 'Super Mum' and I save the day.
Also both my DC are part of a costuming group and raise money for charity.

Mine can be horrible but he ALWAYS shares his sweets :) even if I say no thanks he insists on giving me some "for later". He strokes/scratches DH's back/arms for him and apparently is better at it than me Shock

Most of the time he's actually pretty good at cleaning and even gets excited about it Confused

He asks the most random, searching questions. He does good hugs. And hilarious drawings.

Also he translates for us because he is bilingual and we are not Grin

DS1 is 20 and in the Army. He's been home on leave for the past two weeks. Everyday he says to me, "shall we have a cup of Earl Grey mum" and we sit and put the world to rights. He gives me hugs and kisses the top of my head then ruffles my hair. He is a great brother and best friend to DS2. He doesn't care that DS2 helps himself to his clothes when he's not here!

He's taken some of the younger lads under his wing at work, helped them understand their finances and makes sure they are all ok on nights out.

DS2(18) is just lovely. He's going to be a nurse. He buys me flowers when he buys his lunch in Tesco. His friends ask why he's buying them and he replies "Why aren't you buying your mum flowers?" When I have a migraine he strokes my head, I have to go into hospital a lot and he always makes me comfortable in bed after and makes sure I have everything I need. I am dreading him moving out.

These are lovely!
DS1 has the nicest manners for a 4 year old, especially when we are out. He said "Thank you for my lovely dinner" to the waitress in a restaurant the other day and always remembers his pleases and thank yous! He's really socially confident too and chats away very nicely to grown ups (charms the pants off them!). He tells me that when he's a big boy he's going to marry me because I am the best lady!!
DS2 is a total sweetheart, very kissy and cuddly and tells me he loves me countless times a day - he's 2. If I'm sad or grumpy or ill he puts himself on my knee, strokes my face and says "It's alright sweetheart".
My beautiful boysGrin

Oh always, lovely post. It reminded me of DS 1 at 2 years old saying to newbornnewborn "hello little poppet, have you got a smile in there?"
