to think that my 2 1/2 year old should sleep through the bloody night?!

My toddler is a crap sleeper - always has been. She can physically sleep all night and has done so on numerous occasions but it never lasts more than 3 or 4 nights at a time.

Currently, we seem to be on a pattern of 3 or 4 wakes a night. 4 bloody times a night and she is 2 1/2!!!

She either wants a drink or her quilt putting back on. We got rid of her dummy a couple of months ago in the hope this would work as it did with her brother - no luck. She shrieks like she is being murdered, you go in, "I want a drink" calm as you like. She clearly knows how to get us in there.

Is it too much to ask that she just sleeps?! I am knackered!!!!!

My Dc are 8 and 10 now but neither of them slept through until they were 4 or 5! Even if we ignored them they'd appear at the side of the bed begging to be let in (DS) or just screaming for mummy/daddy (DD). No matter what we did nothing worked. Thankfully they grew out of it but I remember the frustration so can sympathise

A 10/tog duvet plus fleece onsie seems a lot!! I suggested it because she might kick it off because it is too hot then she wakes up because she's cold, but actually needs a thinner duvet.

My heat loving 5 year old was only using a 8 tog duvet once it got really cold at night. Being small, he didn't need anything thick (which is why toddler duvets only go up to 4 tog usually)

I would try thinner PJs with a thinner duvet plus a blanket.

We had this at the same age. Sippy cup of water next to bed and we got a GroClock. The clock sorted the issue in one night. I was amazed.
