I don't want to use any illegal sites as I crashed a laptop trying to watch Downton Abbey in real time it is wrong.

We started counting the number of horseback trips along the coast Poldark takes every episode.

If this was set in the present day, would they really show every car journey he makes?

dido I'm very about the horse riding too...
He goes off to his uncle's house on horse back (several times) -I think he even borrows one in the first episode to go home.

Verity/Elizabeth come to visit on horseback. He frequently rides around with Demelza on the same horse...then at Christmas - in the freezing cold - they decide to walk the whole way there and back...why???
(And also when she is making bread(?) and she hasn't realised he is home and is watching her from the door ...its the middle of nowhere, must be really really quiet -almost silent - and she didn't hear him thunder up the gravel path on his horse, stable it etc ...)
But then is it really meant to believable?

Perhaps the Union of Acting Horses has a special deal for this series?

I don't mind looking at him - but he's not Ross. Not from the way he's described in the books. He's too slight/not tall or broad enough to be Ross. But don't let me stop your fantasies

I'm definitely going back to the books and my imagination!
