To spend the beginning of my maternity leave reading mumsnet?

I've been on maternity leave for 2 weeks 4 days now. Baby is due in 9 days.

Baby's clothes are washed. Hospital bag is packed. Car is freshly serviced and MOTd. Freezer is full with home cooking. Laundry basket is as low as it can get without risking cross-dying clothes. Cupboards are full with food and cupboard upstairs has 2 x 18 pack of loo rolls in. Pram, cot, car seat and moses basket are bought and ready for use.

I am now spending my time reading Mumsnet Talk and eating Sainsbury's hazelnut chocolate spread Nutella out of the jar.

Is this reasonable or is there something else I should be doing?

Treasure your sofa days, you won't be able to have a wee in peace for the next three yearsSmile

Today's my first day! I'm totally wiped out, I've spent the day eating things and watching films on the settee. Baby is due in three weeks.

We're picking the car seat and the Moses basket up on Sunday and then I just need to wash all the baby's clothes and then we're ready, and it's settee and daytime naps until the baby arrives!

Ahhhh see I did it the other way round. Mumsnet first. Organisation later. Erm my baby came three weeks early. So the organisation bit didn't really happen. So YANBU OP, and I admire you! Please have an extra helping of Nutella on my behalf.
