............like a Parisian tarts boudoir? Apparantly that's what the "products" smell like and there's nothing she can do about it.

Apart from anything else, it confuses the cats.

Don't worry she will probably roll.in something the minute you take her out! My dog used to smell nice when I had a rosemary bush in the garden as she would bury things under it and rub through the branches digging them up again.

My me-to-you-bearesque looking mutt needs to go back to the groomers but he always comes back smelling like a whole tub of talcum powder has been dumped on him and the other dog picks on him :( I do have some lovely bubble gum grooming spray and dog shampoo which is a much more pleasant smell! The last groomer did the exact opposite of what I wanted, ie do not shave him, poor thing was half bald, we took him straight to the beach to get soaked in the sea, at least he smelt more like his normal doggy odour after that!

DH says our dog smells like a tarts boudoir when he comes back from the groomer, it does beg the question how does DH know what a tarts boudoir smells like?

My grandfather would have said the same thing!

My spaniel always smells like this too when she gets back from the groomers and cats are equally disgusted, however she can fix that in five minutes if we go down to the woods and be straight back to her usual faintly fox pooed with biscuit feet self...... Grotty little Herbert that she is.

My spaniel currently smells of something long dead.

We took ours to a groomers once and she came back smelling like sweet apples, it was quite nice! she usually smells of either mild dog, or pond water.
