A friend of mine has posted the results and scan of a baby on fb as good news between him and his gf.

Its all an aprils fools joke.

Before congratulating him I PM'd him to make sure its true first, he assured me it was

He knows I have had infertility issues.

I called him out on him and apprently I shouldn't make him feel bad as I still have my children (after years of tears and heartbreak)

AIBU reasonable in this?

I find all April Fools jokes annoying, anyway; to me this is no worse than all the others.

I'm sad that I have never been married but I don't mind seeing wedding updates etc on Facebook.
There is always something that will upset someone, so best to realise that other people don't live in your head and aren't doing anything to deliberately piss you off.

This 'joke' is not particularly funny, but at the same time I do think it's unreasonable to be offended by it.

YANBU to not find such a tired old joke funny.

It's a really stupid joke. Sooooo over done and not funny at all.

But don't take it personally, I'm going to sound harsh but ppl can't be expected to watch what they say or do so as not to offend you. I wouldn't unfriend if it were me.

I have never heard of this joke. I don't think it's unreasonable to find it crass and insensitive in the specific circumstances. I would unfriend him as he sounds irritating and immature.

It was a stupid joke but he was unreasonable to continue the joke when you pmed him- especially as he knows and remembers your history, afterall he threw it back into your face so he did know.

I'd ignore him for that, sounds like a knob.
