To divorce my mother? *Klaxon*

My mother went to visit my nan yesterday and was washing her back for her when she spotted a rather plump black spot the size of a 1p.
After simply prodding it out popped a giant blackhead and she pulled it and out followed a root as long as around 10cm!!
Did she take pictures? No. This is completely unacceptable, no?

Umm, did she keep the blackhead? Any chance she could fish it out of the bin, and take a pic?

This could go some small way to restoring some sort of relationship :(

TedAndLola · 28/03/2015 20:14

Stratter5 and then perhaps talk nan into doing a re-enactment?

ScarlettDarling · 28/03/2015 20:19

Dear lord...why oh why did I google "25 year old black head"? That thing was no blackhead!!!!

MrsTedCrilly · 28/03/2015 20:33

I am so jealous! I did one on my dads back once and it was amazing.. It was 5mm wide and we must have got 30cm out in bits.. My mum just assumed it was a mole for years! I also pulled out an old piece of thread from my mums stomach from an op she'd had ten years earlier! She thought it was a splinter so I got the tweezers and pulled, and it just kept coming. It had taken that long to work its way out!
I love sporn, off to check my OH's back Wink
P.s to make up for missing out, go watch some youtube sporning.

monkeyfacegrace · 28/03/2015 20:49

I've just lost half hour to youtube sporn. Thanks a lot.

LoonyToonie · 28/03/2015 20:58

I worked in a nursing home in my 20's and was scrubbing Doris's back and she asked me what she could feel on her back. I'd ready spotted the Enormous cluster of blackheads but felt that I'd be waaaay over stepping the mark by giving them a squeeze.

Turns out Doris was a bit of a sporner too and egged me on to have a go. What with the steam and warm
Water, a bit of pressing yielded a
satisfying length of yellow cable-like
Pus, at least a decade old. Left a hole in her back though but Doris and I grinned about it for weeks afterwards Grin

Fugghetaboutit · 28/03/2015 21:00

I heart Doris

Do all of you sporners have one of these? It's the gift that keeps on giving, even when you think you don't have a spot it sometimes yields a treat. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HS1ME8A?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

LoonyToonie · 28/03/2015 21:05

Doris rocked.

She also had the cleanest back in the Swansea valley that month Grin

bonzo77 · 28/03/2015 21:09

ted i just ordered one. DS (aged only 2.4) has black heads in his ears: cannot wait to try it out. He's been so patient with me trying to get them with tweezers.

tak1ngchances · 28/03/2015 21:14

Hmm. I am a sporner and I love a klaxon thread. Normally has me rubbing me thighs like billy-o.

But there's something about ^granny* sporner that I can't be doing with.

Am I am ageist sporner??? Shock

LoonyToonie · 28/03/2015 21:16

tak I have a blemish free family.

I take it when I can get it.

Gruntfuttock · 28/03/2015 21:22

LoonyToonie Sorry, but can I just point out that it's wasn't pus, which would indicate an infection, but sebum.

Rosienufc · 28/03/2015 21:33

I've just lost 20 minutes to googling spot /blackhead popping on YouTube Shock

Chippednailvarnish · 28/03/2015 21:51

Try looking at ear wax removal...

Stratter5 · 28/03/2015 21:54

I have a blemish free family too, it's simply NOT FAIR Angry

LoonyToonie · 28/03/2015 22:02

Grunt!

It. Was. Pus.

Dowser · 28/03/2015 22:03

Hilarious.

Never came across the word sporting before.

Good old Doris. They made them tough in those days.

Dowser · 28/03/2015 22:04

Sporning even

Gruntfuttock · 28/03/2015 22:06

Sebum

WhereIsMyFurryHat · 28/03/2015 22:10

I'd be so bloody disappointed. Devastated in fact. Definitely go NC.

TeddyBee · 28/03/2015 22:12

OH has adult acne on his back :) I'm encouraged to sort it out :)

I haven't laughed out loud for ages, my sides are hurting and can't see the keyboard properly.

FanFuckingTastic · 28/03/2015 22:36

You need some sort of sporn compensation. It's just not right.
