My friend lives down in Warwickshire and sent me this story - makes me wish we lived in a better world. Warning - details may be upsetting for some. m.rugbyadvertiser.co.uk/news/local-news/rugby-drug-dealer-subjected-autistic-teen-to-humiliating-ordeal-1-6648678

Well if you give a dealer fake money then shit happens. I've never met a decent dealer.. If they're nice then people take the piss. It's the nature of the game.

That said I hope the kids ok and hopefully off the blow.

GraysAnalogy · 23/03/2015 20:53

I'm inclined to agree with gamerchick. And whilst this isn't nice at all, I've read much worse of late :(

I hope he recovers well and that he thinks twice about getting involved with drug dealers again.

Agree with gamerchick. Hope he recovers quickly x

The teen is lucky that's all that happened to him, if he gave a drug dealer fake money. Here in the States he would have been shot.

A similar thing happened to an autistic lad at my neighbour's school. He got mixed up with a dodgy crowd (not drugs) because he genuinely believed they were his friends but they targeted him deliberately all they wanted was to hurt and humiliate him. I'm not saying that's what happened here but there are certain individuals in society who do become targets because of their vulnerability.

Morning OP. Just wanted to let you know we've just edited the title for you on this thread.

NeedABumChange · 24/03/2015 09:53

It's his own fault. Don't do drugs. Don't hang out with people who do drugs. Don't go to drug dealers houses.

Yes he's autistic but he's obviously high functioning enough to be in mainstream school and be out and about on his own.
