To think it's strange to be asked to fill out a firm stating whether I'd recommend my A&E dept?

I have no qualms confirming what level of service I've received on a feedback form, but recommend the only A&E dept in the area? I think that's odd.

I got asked to fill one of those in when I went to a+e with a suspected broken ankle, i wouldn't have minded but tthey asked me while I was in the waiting room, I had not been seen by anyone at that point I had simply sat in a chair, watching the TV on mute.
