To resent prep school taking credit for tutored children?

just saying. It was my choice to hire an excellent tutor and I don't regret it but now I know that our prep school will add this new super selective on their leavers destination, and it annoys me. I feel bad about feeling annoyed though IYSWIM!

Actually, Bazelle, I couldn't afford an additional tutor: DS had a bursary. Nothing to do with snobbishness.

It isn't necessary if the child is attending a good prep so long as the child is capable.
Many of the top schools are wise to the tutored children and set their scholarship questions accordingly.

My son is at a pre-prep. It goes to 7 and prepares for the 7+ and the school say "we will prepare them, don't get a tutor". Everyone has a tutor. I assure you that anyone looking at leaving destinations for the 7+ or 11+ will assume that most/all of the children have also been tutored. Don't stress.

If there was a like button I would have pressed it now threegoing :)
And I would have liked the option of a dislike button for some posts! Goodness me some people are judgemental. FWIW on the elevenplus site, for London anyway, since most children are tutored they mostly do well afterwards, and very few get tutored afterwards.

I think your diamond shoes are a bit tight, OP.
