Sometimes it's necessary to NC because every time you post in your regular name some cunt has a dig. It's either NC or fuck off.

It's tedious.

Yes, of course its necessary to nc sometimes. More's the pity.

MN is the only site I know where keeping the same name is a bad thing.

You get accused of spending too long on here, having no life,being royalty, being cliquey.

So I've embraced the NC.

I only post on one other site where it is more or less impossible to change your name. To do so involves long email exchanges with admin, setting out your case. Makes for a less fake atmosphere I find.

I'm going to namechange to HullyFuckingGully.

one of the Education boards regulars used an internet search to find regular posters
but because it picked up

• quantity, not quality
• non name changers over 6 years

it included almost none of the regulars

The royalty/clique/no life thing gets very tedious. I have plenty of time on my hands, and I happen to enjoy MNing.
