Ukip would not existCake
Conservatives would be a fringe party
Labour a major party still
Greens a major party
What do you think Britain would be like?

dream or nightmare?
Where do you think the money would come from?
It's a good idea to soak the rich, but you can only do that once and it's not going to pay for a fraction of the Green ideas.

Read the Education, property, work and money boards and THEN tell me MN is left wing Hmm

CruCru · 20/03/2015 17:06

I think MN is on the whole much more intelligent than the general population. Perhaps we would have a bit more proper debate in parliament rather than the yah boo sucks we get at present. Wasn't there a MN campaign to change PMQ in this way?

Morelikeguidelines · 20/03/2015 17:20

I don't think it's ring wing in the sense of racist or prejudiced. I think mn orthodoxy is usually in favour of economically "right wing " (as in very free market, spend your money as you like etc) arguments.

I'm not saying that is bad or good but it is.my observation.

If Mumsnetters were representative then Britain would be a gulag. I shudder at the thought.

OTheHugeManatee · 20/03/2015 18:07

If the electorate comprised 100% MNers, the economy would be looking considerably more like Greece's by now.

Grin

If Labour gets in let alone, God forbid, all those Druids and Trots in the Green Party the UK's economy will be looking a lot more like Greece is now Hmm

Just remember folks

If you do not vote, do not moan about the outcomes for the next five years.

If you do not like the look of any of the candidates, write none of the above on your ballot paper so that its clear that you are angry, not apathetic.

Not voting is an utter cop out and an insult to those who cannot vote in other times and places.

I think the main slant on Mumsnet is that people on benefits = innocent victims; people who work and are poor = get a better job.
