Or is it just me?

Iv just been invited to an online 'trunk show' and I cannot believe that people buy such ugly jewelry and accessories for such high prices!

Needless to say, I wont be buying anything.

Still in awe of the name though tatty Grin

I have a thing for Tarina Tarantino. I've quite a few of her necklaces (the wizard of oz ones are my favourites) but I don't wear them often now. Mostly because I never go bloody out.

I have bought some for my mate in the past.

I recently went to one of those 'evenings' where people were selling stuff - candles, clothes, Arbonne (aargh) and Stella & Dot. I went to the stall with my debit card in hand, but couldn't find a thing I liked. Maybe it's had its day..

Stella & Dot is twee jewellery for painfully aspirational Yummy Mummies. Worn with their immaculate Dubarry boots and over sized Mint Velvet, white linen peasant blouse.

Yawn.

cleanmyhouse · 17/03/2015 22:37

some of that is really ugly, particularly the tropical necklace.

I went to a Stella and dot party last week..it was the biggest load of expensive tat I'd ever seen. And I've been constantly bombarded with email and friend requests on FB ever since by the stylist. I left, as politely as I could!

It does seem to be similar to avon/tupperware/ann summers in structure. Hold parties, get people a bit tipsy, sell them crap.

If you like it it's much cheaper from the American website and can be posted over here.
