After all it's now the size of a grapefruit so surely my partner should have stepped up to the plate and bought a card and a fuck off bouquet as well as providing breakfast in bed to a complicated high spec recipe.

Given some people's expectations including cards and presents from babies I wouldn't be surprised to see this next.

That's it! I'm pissed off with my cats that they didn't get me a card. No chicken for them for a very long time

I know. My cat hasn't stepped up to the plate either.

8 months pregnant and up at 6:30 to make a cooked breakfast for Himself before he drives 200 miles for the football. FA from the cats too (ungrateful fluffy free loaders - like they don't have a diary or whatever!).

However I do think it tempts fate to get anything before the birth and I don't think a Mother's Day card is appropriate at this stage and he's been brilliant at looking after me during pregnancy.

My 5 year old made me a card at school and that means more to me than a card my DH will prob give me later that he buys after work.
