To get this jacket dry cleaned or is there another way?

I've recently moved house and the previous flat I was in had pretty bad damp problems, so much so that my beautiful purple leather jacket went mouldy!

I desperately am trying to salvage it as it is so lovely but I've tried cleaning it with leather cleaner & febreze and it still absolutely stinks of mouldy musty nastiness :(

Would I be unreasonable to just pay a dry cleaner to sort it out? It seems like such a frivolous waste of money but at the same time I love my jacket and want to keep it but it smells so bad it's currently unwearable.

Hang it out on the line in dry windy weather, but peg it well. A day like today is perfect here. The windier the better. Unless there are stains I freshen up lots of clothes that way. Gradually the mustiness will go, but you may need to do it a few times.

yes i would hang it outside to air it for a while.
then i would get it dry cleaned.
air well after dry cleaning.
hopefully it will be ok then.
