I suddenly have the most outrageously painful toothache, I've taken a paracetamol but it's not touching it! I have antibiotics left over from a few months ago they're 500mg, but I'm not sure if I can take one (I suspect it's an infection) because I'm pregnant (first trimester)
If I phoned nhs direct for advice would I be an absolute time wasting numpty? Feel like climbing the walls in pain right now! Hmm

Poor you, really hope you've already found something to give you a bit of relief.

Corsodyl antibacterial mouthwash helped me when I last had toothache (the proper medicated one for gum disease). It is safe to use in pregnancy.

do you have any actual cloves ? surely they must be safe, and they work remarkably well.

tooth infections are the worst in the world - get some treatment when you can. might need to have it drained off if its badly infected. good luck.,
