you all know the ones, a name you dont recognise and an op which is goady and ridiculous

the answers come flying in and the op answers maybe once or twice in the whole thread

mn must be a bloody goldmine for them

I am always very cynical about threads started on politics in the run up to elections.

I've been contacted by a TV production company following me starting a thread. Hmm

emmelinelucas · 14/03/2015 19:48

I have mentioned this in another thread.
I can just tell what is going to be discussed in the media and on magazine shows by what we have been talking about.
Aren't journalists supposed to pay their sources ? or are we giving them stories for free ?
I think we need to be told...

I've been accused of being a journalist and of using MN for research for my degree in the past. Neither was true. Occasionally, an interesting(ish) thought strikes me and come on here to share or see what others think, just like you would if the thought struck you in the pub.

I was contacted by a journalist many moons ago on the old mother and baby forums after we were talking about leslie ash and her mrsa. I ended up in a magazine.
