To feel sorry for Catherine DoC or anyone, pregnant or not having 220 stalkers and think she chose her position and still has the choice to withdraw from being HRH?

She has hardly done many engagements since becoming Her Royal Highness. It's one excuse after another. I would just live a quiet life with her DH and DC if I were her. Give the job to someone who wants it.

I bow to your superior knowledge of the royal household (and the number of children involved) Hmm

Sorry the thread title isn't making sense.

A most brilliant bonkers thread title. Had to open the thread to find out what it meant. I'm none the wiser though and I'm not entirely sure if the OP thinks well of Catherine or not.

Don't quite get what people mean when they say "she knew what she was getting into" Catherine hasn't been caught complaining about her life has she? It was the OP complaining (well possibly, she could just as easily have been approving) about the lack of appointments.

She wanted this. I have no doubt Prince william told her what to expect, after all, his own Mother was hounded a lot more than Karherine is. She has people to help her - i know it cant be easy not being able to be anonomous but its the way it is. If she didnt want this life she coulld have walked away years ago. I felt sorry for Diana, but not so much for Kate.

sonjadog · 05/03/2015 16:01

Yes, she has one child now but she will shortly have two. I imagine the nanny is already informed about the new arrival.

Odd thing to pick up and be so irate about.

DeeWe · 05/03/2015 16:02

Of course when Diana gave up her title the media were not interested in her at all. Oh no...

Many women feel like shit all through pregnancy. Depending on levels of sickness, they sometimes need to take some time off work. i don't see what the problem is here? She sounds like she was in a grim state with both pregnancies with HG and from the women I know who have this, they certainly wouldn't have been able to be out and about fulfilling public engagements. I'm not at all into the idea of a royal family, but think YABU here.

LaurieFairyCake · 05/03/2015 16:07

I think it's horribly cunty to attack anyone personally.

Be anti monarchy fine, but to be anti an 8 month pregnant woman who suffers from HG - well that just makes you an arsehole doesn't it?Hmm

sosix · 05/03/2015 16:13

Ofgs. Shes only human.

I'm reading this thinking 'this must be what it's like if you don't understand Mornington Crescent'

So can I suggest a move to South Kennsington, we are playing Tudor Windsor court rules aren't we?

Chillyegg · 05/03/2015 17:54

Sorry what I was meant to finish my post was with, yep she new what she was getting into however it doesn't really excuse anyone criticising her.

She's pregnant and got HG pretty tough on anyone I'd think.

But this is me taking a guess at what your on about.
