The gyst is that protection services who fail consistently could be inprisoned in light of cases such as recent child abuse scandals. Will mr DC be funding these systems better though? Lack of funding is a huge Issue, and Im also a bit Hmm that this is only a national threat as a bunch of girls from Oxford have been involved smacks of classism to me. news.sky.com/story/1437290/pm-children-abused-on-industrial-scale

God only knows. Our budgets have been slashed to breaking point. My force will next year be operating on the same budget as 15 years ago.

We don't have the resources to properly investigate basic crimes, let alone complex stuff like child abuse. And even if we did, the CPS and the courts are falling apart at the seams.

The criminal justice system is collapsing and all the "initiatives" are akin to rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic

Well done Smillas.

Also it is the system that is failing, not just individual staff in it. This system has been imposed from the top down, not built from the bottom up using evidence of how peiople can really help. Its overriding motive is not to protect the poor and vulnerable but to protect the pockets of the people in power, and in these historic cases, the reputation of the people in power. Time and again we are hearing stories of how abuse was reported and just swallowed up and forgotten by the system. We need to stop this constant vilification of some of the most dedicated caring people (frontline care workers) in the bloody country!

Well said Gibbering, agree with all your posts

What is currently being kept out of the Media was that both Jimmy Savile and Cyril Smith were both Freemasons. Hence the current BBC Executive in the papers saying Jeremy Clarkson was "protected" in the same way as Jimmy Savile"

If anyone has any doubt whether there is a shady side to Freemasonry here are 3 mainstream media articles that shine a light on it:

Operation Tiberius The Independent - : www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/revealed-how-gangs-used-the-freemasons-to-corrupt-police-9054670.html

Nick Davies The Guardian — Freemasons in the police: www.nickdavies.net/1997/01/01/freemasons-in-the-police/
