Or see about my dc? Esp the eldest?

With hope that they might know/ have experience of what im dealing with?

Do you?

Ds1 has been poorly since he was born.
Reflux, constipation, hes had ulcers in his mouth, blood in his poo, fed via feeding tune gastrostomy, autistic, asthma, Dairy allergy, lots of pain in tummy, blood in his aspirates (stomach fluids)

His main problem is the pain atm. Paracetamol doesnt do much.

hes under gastros. Hes seen every 3weeks.
Hes only4 :(
I just cant see him in so much pain.

They never did it until the 26/27th despite him being in pain for so long.
The dr probably thought I was chatting shit.

Im not. I am being 100% honest and I know I can be pushy which some hcp dont like but if im not how do I know if my child is getting the proper care hes entitled to?

I understand the difference and will ask his paed tomorrow for the crohns test.

Someone said what about cystic fibrosis?

As he suffered from repeated chest infections too.

Inflammatory bowel disease test Wink It's not just Crohn's, ulcerative colitis is IBD too. Although in your son's case it sounds more like Crohn's Disease (if he does in fact have IBD as well as C Diff) because of the ulcers and reflux.

LostMyBaubles · 10/04/2015 06:52

Yep dont lots of reading into it. Crohns is the one the sticks out thr most as being most likely but could still be colitis as the entrance to the colon was inflammed.

But could be egid too.
They need to pull their fingers out and do all relevant tests

think hes going to be ill.
Hes started refluxing a lot more and was sick as we was going out look for the stupid antibiotics.

They swabbed his peg site in October and it showed hes had strep infection every since.
These are from the lab reports they sent me! No one ever mentioned it until I showed the dr here today!
Htf did they miss that??

That is appalling. What did the Dr say?

I hope you complain officially; this is basic competence stuff. Your poor child.

LostMyBaubles · 10/04/2015 18:08

I know. Its disgusting. Really has pissed me off this time.
I have emailed them. Dr is on leave. Will have more than a few things to say to them at the next appointment

I want EVERY report in front of me as it seems they arent capable of picking things up!
So now my lil man is on 3 lots of antibiotics.

Hes been spiking temp today

well more this evening.

38.4, breathing was a lil heavy too but better now.
One other thing that concerns me is that the bravo tablet from thr ph probe still hasn't come out. Its not something you can miss. Its like a 2inch capsule that looks likr glass.
Wonder if hes getting another infection

OP posts:
SpringTown46 · 11/04/2015 22:23

Hopefully the antibiotics are starting to kick in now, so if another infection was lurking it should have been a non-starter.

LostMyBaubles · 12/04/2015 06:06

Temp is 39.3
hes all frustrated too.
Hes got spots ones on his bum are different to the ones on his stomach.

Took him a+e they didnt know whats wrong and as he'd perked up they sent him home Hmm despite pulse being too fast and all these spots
