To bath the cat! Has been staying at a smokers house

He absolutely stinks! He's been looked after at a smokers house.

I'm considering:
Chucking lavender oil on back of his neck
Throwing something innocuous on him to make him wash himself: flour?

Bathing or showering probably a wash too far!
Ideas?

KingJoffrey, you are a good sort. I'm glad your rescue kitty's last few weeks were filled with kindness.

I would try a baby wipe once over, then let the cat air!

The bath sounds a bit mean, unless you think you could make it pleasant.

We inherited 2 cats a long time go and they were indoo flat cats,, they muust have smoked loads jnside as they both stunk. Both got washed and blowdries twice in the following 4 days to get rid of the smell it was that ingrained. Its not easy but if two of you do itq and have a shower head much easier, oh and make sure your bathroom is really warm!

lol poor kitty my cat would kill me if i tried to bath her!
