NAR appreciation and crazy parking lady thread 2

Just thought I'd start another thread as the other one looks like it will fill up soon! NDN has knocked again at NAR's house with no reply. I think she may be getting the message!

Can someone link the old thread as not sure how to do it.

It's all very exciting and all that but tbh I'd be shifting those cars now. I reckon she's probably got the message and could do with the chance to move her car and will never darken your parking spaces again.

I agree with YouTheCat - there's a danger of losing the moral high ground if NAR continues the blockade any longer.

DH and I were discussing this earlier; at what point does a firm defence become aggression? I think NAR is still on the 'establishing boundaries with a difficult neighbour' side but DH was urging clemency damn pacifists

YouTheCat why?

She was preventing OP and NAR from using their spaces by parking in the middle of them. NAR parked in his own spaces of which she is trespassing effectively blocking her in which he is entitled to do in his own parking spot.

Tough shit she shouldn't be there and she knows that. She's learnt a hard lesson. She was warned if she repeated to park her car there NAR would take it into his own hands and he did.

Just noticed the taxi update. Now I feel a bit sorry for NDN as we all know that her car will be released at 5pm but she doesn't know how long it will go on.

I realise that. I acknowledge what a complete cow she has been but no one knows what she might have going on in her life. Could be hospital appointments? Could be caring responsibilities? Could be nothing at all.

I agree, YouTheCat. It has gone on for some days now and as far as NDN knows it may continue.

And she still may, after her car is released, continue parking in OP's spaces.

I kind of agree that it time to stop but, on the other hand, her "do I look like I give a shit?" response plus the door slamming makes me feel she deserves it. At no point did she make any effort to be pleasant or neighbourly.

Dear NAR sorry for being a bitch, I will no longer park in you space, please release my car as I have a hospital appointment tomorrow.

And to be honest NAR would be in his right to say "do I look I give a Shit?" after her response to him about parking in his spaces! But i'm sure he would have released her.

And you know what if she parked in her own space then she could come and go as she pleased. Which i'm sure she is now fully aware of of after NAR's lesson Wink

She should have thought of that before not giving a shit. She could have put an apologetic note through NAR's door, explaining her situation. She apparently gave no thought to problems she was giving her new neighbours. Perhaps they had hidden disabilities which meant they needed a closer parking space.

She didn't expect NAR to fight fire with fire. Big mistake. I wonder if she has bullied her way through her whole life?

She may have allergies, her cat might have died 3 years ago and she is still grieving, or she might just be a selfish cunt who doesn't give a toss about her neighbours.

Whether or not she decides to learn from this and use her own space from now on is anyone's guess. What doesn't require guesswork is NARs reaction to her parking. Hes in for the long haul by the sounds of it. He'll convince her eventually.

But she has been to knock on the door a number of times and has been ignored. First time, fair enough, let her stew a bit but when does the bullied become the bully?
