Loads of lemongrass in the garden, maybe I could infuse some of that?

Yes confused surely that's dry white wine with not on. On is not on.

LaChatte · 17/02/2015 18:36

Kids opted out of clementine and apple, in favour of Nutella. I slightly overdid it on the rum and almost lost my eyebrows kitchen , but it was oh so yummy and totally worth the pseudo heart attack.

Gin.

pippop1 · 17/02/2015 19:27

OK, if it was with it would have to be sweet white wine (for me).

With the wine on pancakes I was thinking along the lines of of how I cook fish in wine or lemon juice. I guess it's different for pancakes!

rallytog1 · 17/02/2015 20:30

Vinegar and sugar. Seriously.
Everyone laughs until they try it.

BlackeyedSusan · 17/02/2015 20:32

vinegar and sugar is delicious.

ditto everybody laughs.

(wonders if rally shares a grandparent as I have never met another person who likes it. )

rallytog1 · 17/02/2015 21:09

I have no female cousins susan but I would happily adopt you as one because my whole family think the vinegar thing is nuts Thanks

DrElizabethPlimpton · 17/02/2015 21:21

I've just put a plop of lemon curd on mine. It was lovely.

SummerHouse · 17/02/2015 22:00

The use of the word plop is great. I personally think its very underused in menus.

I am now wondering if I share a grandma with rallytog and BlackeyedSusan because my gran swore by Sarsons and sugar on pancakes.

I am posh, y'see, so I have balsamic vinegar (I couldn't reach the malt at the back of the larder and the balsamic was right there ) and it is gorgeous
