Can't believe he earns so much a day, while he has ruined so many lives.

I think he should be stripped of these assets.

vienna1981 The case was A -v- Hoare. A - who has waived her anonymity but I will respect it - won her case. He pleaded limitation - a perfectly legally respectable plea but the Law Lords thought otherwise and then they settled. She gave the damages to charity.

The legal gossip at the time was that they reached a figure (through their lawyers) for the actual attack (attempted rape) without difficulty - but she wanted more for the second attack of PTSD she suffered when he won the money and she feared he would come looking for her. (He had bought the ticket while on pre-release weekend leave, quite lawfully). He refused to pay for that saying that the blame lay with whoever at the Prison Service had illegally sold the story to the tabloids - and I think he was right on that point.

Prisoners on pre-release lave now cannot legally buy lottery tickets.

Harris's victims may have a problem with limitation. A could say that the man was not worth suing, being penniless, at the time. Harris's victims cannot say that. Watch this space.
