AIBU to have bought ferrero rochers for the builders?

My wife asked me to get a "treat" for the builders doing our extension as it's Friday. I bought ferrero rochers. Apparently that's not appropriate and i should have bought biscuits or a cake. WTF is she on about??

Did they know they were for them? If I was in someone's house and there was a box of ambassador-standard chocs by the kettle, I wouldn't get stuck in. Digestives, on the other hand...

They definitely knew they were for them cos i told them. One said he didn't like chocolate, the other one said he'd have one but didn't, and the third one wasn't there today. .. oh well, more for me!

YANBU! The lads who did my bathroom refit told me that sometimes they aren't even offered a cup of tea on jobs.... They would have loved the naff posh choc!

YABU it's Friday which means Fish & Chips or a Bacon & Egg butty (accompanied with 4 gallons of tea) at the very least. My DH is a builder and he would be most upset with you OP
