To think an all terrain tandem should exist?

Due DC#2 in the Summer. Will have a 2 year age gap. Flummoxed if I can find a good tandem that can cope with the dog walking I do! Lots of muddy/rough paths/grass etc. I don't want a side by side as live in a terrace house and want something that will be a single when eldest will start walking more.

All I want (pffff) is a tandem, with access to the basket and good off road. Surely I'm not the only one?

A mountain buggy duo would work.

A Phil and teds has no basket space once 1 child is in the bottom and the close proximity to the ground concerns me on rough terrain.

I have a mountain buggy now so might have to get a duo but it's not a tandem so is have to get another buggy when I just need a single!

We have a mountain buggy duet - it's side by side but v skinny so fits through single doors. Otherwise I think you are stuck with no basket Phil and Ted's style.

I know what you mean about the storage on Phil and teds with two kids in. But I found mine very stable even though I hung loads off the back. Our Phil and teds went everywhere. Very off-road. But yes, I did rip the storage thing.

I guess would say no buggy does everything so it depends on your priorities.

We have a Britax B Ready travel system. It comes with a regular pushchair seat, but you can also click in a Britax infant seat or a bassinet. It does 14 different configurations of seats to make it an in-line double, and it has a big basket. I have used it on paths and on snow no problem.

You can get the panniers for the side of.the Phil and teds though which may solve your.problem?

I was thinking bikes. You can get all terrain tandem bikes.
