I'm sorry but some people just are thick and stupid and I don't have a very time for them.
You know NotaStatistic my DH has been branded "thick and stupid" his whole life because he finds reading and writing very difficult, he can't always pronounce words in the right way, or spell correctly, or use the right punctuation, or doesn't undertand what someone may mean in what they say. Me, I'm pretty good at English, history etc, have a great memory and I've a good reader. He's way, way more intelligent than me! He's taught himself to read after recieving no education whatsoever. He reads these philosophy books and psychology books and history books etc that I would find a complete snoozefest. It may take him quite a while to read and understand them, but he does. He does still get called stupid and thick by people quite frequently though. He's actually very similar to Alicia Duvall, a bit slow on the uptake, struggles with things sometimes. But actually like Alicia he's one of the nicest people I've ever met.
Actually what you've posted is quite telling really as someone who classes herself as intelligent as you obviously do if you feel qualified enough to call people "thick and stupid". Apparently intelligence according to NotaStatistic or Katie Hopkins means to have no emotional intelligence whatsoever, no self awareness, no empathy and the inability to put themselves in someone else's shoes - someone who may not be able to understand things in the way that they deem fit.
In my book that's what I'd call a nasty cow.
