Just that really, I've noticed that all those I know who insisted on keeping quiet when baby was asleep, all the kids are now very light sleepers, and all the ones who carried on as normal, the kids are heavy sleepers.
Is there anyone with kids who don't fit this?

I was asking about light sleepers and heavy sleepers. Never once did I mention 'good' sleepers.
Quite frankly I wish I was a light sleeper, I can sleep through pretty much any alarm, that ain't a good thing.

You're 100% right O.P. The best advice I was ever given when expecting dd was. Get the baby used to noise, don't start all that "sush" the babies asleep because the least little bit of noise, the baby'll be awake. My dd could sleep through anything, still does

She's not 100% right. It's random.

I kept things silent for my first child and he sleeps like a log now. I can go into his room in the evening, turn on the light and put away washing and he won't wake up.

My second child otoh has never had the luxury of a silent house and stirs quite easily.

So she's not 100% right is she? She's just giving the examples of her and her friend's children. In a years' time it could all be different.
