He just looks like a generic underware model, no edge or anything to set him apart from countless others imo

I love him. Really liked him in The Fall, thought he acted very well. Also pleasing on the eye.

Saw him on Graham Norton and thought he came across really.well, down to earth and happy to take the piss out of himself. He was also very attractive which surprised me as sometimes you fancy them as a character (admittedly not in The Fall) but then see them interviewed and they're boring and two dimensional.

Have seen him in the clips of 50 Shades of Shite and he's clean cut and very bland looking. Disappointed.

I agree with bland looking in the 50 Shades trailers.
Him and Justin Timberland look much better with beards.

It was seeing him on GN (rather than looks alone or acting ability) that did it for me, he was very funny, charming and self deprecating and I am a complete sucker for an Irish accent - instant lust.

I've met him a few times, years ago. We had a few friends in common. He was always lovely, very polite, a bit self conscious of himself. Very good looking in a kind of distracted way. You knew he was good looking but he had something else.

Oh he's bloomin gorgeous. About time we had a bit of tv crush fodder and I don't see any other candidates!! He went out with Keira Knightley though so I don't think my nacho-loving belly is going to do it for him so I'll stick to the fantasy!!

He's not going to be taken seriously as an actor from 50 shades of grey. He needs to continue doing the fall and other indie or serious movies. Or he will be the next rpatz.

He was excellent in The Fall but I think Fifty Shades might kill his career too . But I suppose he will be at least be rich .tbf from the trailers the film might be better than the book-it could hardly be worse.
He's too 'pretty boy' for me (i'm quite old) and I don't think his face has much character Lips too fleshy too . Now the young policeman in The Fall .... ....

he's got quite a 'fixed eyes' face , which isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I do like him, accent helps hugely plus the fine bone structure.

oh and I do think he is quite special as an actor, he was in The Fall, though unsure whether he could cope with the role of Gray, I think it's a miscast.

As an actor he is fantastic. I love his accent and I have to admit, I love his eyes.
