To think NIck Clegg was just HILARIOUS on The Last Leg?

Still giggling. Convincing Alex Brooker to vote by leveraging Nandos was a stroke of genius.

Oh I might have to watch this on catch up. I have a bit of a soft spot for Cleggy, no idea why!!

lightbulbsarehot · 31/01/2015 10:05

I liked him.

Showy · 31/01/2015 10:15

I missed it last night. I'll watch it tonight. I like The Last Leg very much and despite being utterly demoralised by Clegg's political decisions, I do think the man is interesting, funny and quite likeable. He's let himself down as much as his supporters.

Idont
That's is the entire problem though, he's told twisted distorted facts to then regurgitate to the public. He's can't even be arsed to know what they are. and only remembers a simple fraction he's been given. Even then he wasn't a hundred percent sure it was rightConfused If he ran a company that was in serious dept, you would at the very least expect him to know the figure. Or you would see the company being run by an incompetent.

simontowers2 · 31/01/2015 10:21

I reckon he's a sociopath.

Trills · 31/01/2015 10:21

Clegg's very good at appearing normal on telly.

Yes, that's why he did so well in the debates last time.

I haven't seen this but may have to get it on catchup.

pandarific · 31/01/2015 12:54

I have to say, he did manage to put the brakes on the Tories in some ways.

Interestingly, simontowers2, I've just looked up their 2010 manifesto to, er, briefly remind myself what their main commitments were and they haven't done too badly on them - probably the worst category is 'cleaning up politics' and they got outvoted on those things (turns out they did pass a Protection of Freedoms Act though, who knew?)
