Andy Burnham looks permanently on the verge of tears.

I saw Frank Field in the street once and he's very attractive in a stern kind of way.

Alan Johnson came into a restaurant I was in and was turned away because they were full. Instead of stamping his foot and saying: 'I'm the Home Secretary' he said: 'Oh! What a shame. Can I book for Wednesday?' Not wildly attractive but it made him seem like someone really nice to be with.

ChickenMe · 29/01/2015 11:47

Hot.
Prince Felipe of Spain also hot and improving with age. King Juan Carlos was hot in his day as well. Swoon.

Tryharder · 29/01/2015 12:00

I was waiting for the thread on the Greek PM.

He's bloody gorgeous.

Tryharder · 29/01/2015 12:03

When I'm watching a film, I always fancy the main character's Dad now.

shoots self

Tryharder · 29/01/2015 12:06

Talking of fancying older men, this is why I don't get 50 year old men who shag 20 year old girls.

I look at 20 year old men and think very objectively how lovely they look but shagging them would be wrong on so many levels and I couldn't think of anything less appealing.

IsThatNormalBehaviourForAnAvoc · 29/01/2015 12:30

Isn't he King Felipe now, chicken?

holdyourown · 29/01/2015 14:07

tryharder I actually did lol about fancying the main character's dad.
onilkleymoor you've raised the stakes there with Axel Grin very nice. Who knew there were so many attractive politicians! in other countries

I find I'm often very interested in what Mark Carney has to say (Bank of England) Oh, and I think Brendan. Rodgers has something brooding about him

binspin · 29/01/2015 14:20

Noooo! but yes please to Axel. yummy.

Fleeceblankets · 29/01/2015 14:35

Yes to Tsipras but I feel the election campaign has aged him; I found him more attractive a year or two ago,

Yes to Axel from Argentina!

Obama is my No 1 political crush though, recently, the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, also caught my eye.

FannyFifer · 29/01/2015 14:36

Axel is rather nice except for those horrific sideburns, he's surely not that old either?

squoosh · 29/01/2015 14:39

Hmmm, not too sure about Axel.

OnIlkelyMoorBahtat · 29/01/2015 15:35

But he's got lovely blue eyes! It's his come hither look squoosh, can't you tell? Smile

And I actually really like his sideburns, how embarrassing!

No Axel's not old at all (we're the same age in fact, so of course he's not old Smile): I was just approaching the thread from a "politicos I fancy" stance, rather than "older men I fancy" stance (of which there are many!).

sourdrawers · 29/01/2015 16:24

Good, I've been looking for an interesting political thread!

Frozenchipsareawful · 29/01/2015 16:32

The new Greek PM is hot! Knocks spots off Ed, Cam and Clegg. ( Not hard really) Andy Burnham is also nice, his eyes are amazing. Not too many hotties about in our parliament.

ChickenMe · 29/01/2015 19:50

Yeah I think he is now actually Normal which is even better.

hottestheadsofstate.com/list/

The Mexican one is hot too

FannyFifer · 29/01/2015 19:58

I used to fancy Bill Clinton but he's crossed well over the pensioner line these days.

FoxgloveFairy · 29/01/2015 20:03

Axel gets my top vote followed by the Greek PM. As long as Axel didn't keep going on about money all the time. Here in Australia, we only have Tony Abbott and opposition leader Bill Shorten. Very short of political hotness!

Beveridge · 29/01/2015 20:13

I'll take the Greek PM or the FM. Or both, if I'm allowed Grin.

FamiliesShareGerms · 29/01/2015 20:18

Andy Burnham was the [[http://www.lynnefeatherstone.org/2009/02/sky-news-poll-results-are-in.htm "Most Fanciable Male MP" in 2009 - he really does have lovely eyes. And he campaigned tireless for justice for the Hilksborough families. And he was completely unglazed at me bf my baby when I met him.

ForalltheSaints · 29/01/2015 20:20

Not as bad as comparing the women there have been in Francois Hollande's life, and preferring the oldest.

thenumberseven · 31/01/2015 08:44

This is Pedro Sanchez leader of the opposition in Spain.
I think the new Greek PM and him look alike
