Watching Murder by Numbers looking like this --> anytime Sandra Bullock says the main suspect is 'the cutest guy she's ever seen' then at the end I see it's Ryan Gosling.

I've seen loads of references to him in books and RL being 'hot' but to me he's really average looking and his eyes are far too close together

I know he's got a reputation for being a lovely guy but surely all the hype can't just be because he's famous and nice?

Yes, I definitely prefer beardy, cardigan-wearing Gosling (à la Half Nelson) to ripped, fake-tanned Gosling (à la Crazy Stupid Love).

I always thought Channing Tatum was just a meat head with no personality, all muscles no substance, and that his face looked like a potato. But then I saw him in a few interviews and he was just such a sweetheart and I completely changed my view of him and now, just hearing his Superman voice in the Lego movie makes me go a bit weak at the knees. He's not the best actor though.....!

I love Bradley Cooper, and I loved him in Silver Linings Playbook (and Jennifer Lawrence who is totally my imaginary BFF). When he says 'wait, was I some percentage not cool' I always laugh out loud!

So glad I'm not the only one to hate Silver Linings! Saw it with a friend who loved it and laughed, cried, sighed etc throughout. It left me cold and I felt like a right miserable caaaaah about it. But now I feel vindicated.

I wouldn't say no to Cumberbatch. Apart from anything else, he's so much The Thing right now that to do so would seem ... churlish.
