Am I being unreasonable to think giving your 6 year old has been sent home with a tummy bug and still v.poorly a donor kebab is awful?

I could murder a kebab right now.

It sill basically boils down to:
Feeding your child something that that want when they're ill if that's what they fancy - fine;
Feeding your child something that they don't want when they're ill - not ideal unless it's something that will help genuinely help them recover
Feeding your child something that they don't want that is the kind of food which could potentially exacerbate an upset stomach if the child isn't used to eating it - mean

Thanks for that Spotty. Will come in handy. Often have a house full of teens who at some point stink out the house with kebabs.

kellywellykingkong · 25/01/2015 20:11

You can get kebabs at the food bank now???

betweenmarchandmay · 25/01/2015 20:12

Won't someone think of the children? Sad

invisiblecrown · 25/01/2015 20:12

Kebab would cheer me up.

Gileswithachainsaw · 25/01/2015 20:16

I don't think not matters of its what the kid wanted.

If he's been that sick you kind of have to be the parent and say no.

A shop bought kebab full.of grease and god knows what is not something a poorly child should be eating.

Any other time then. knock yourself out. But this is really not a sensible thing to do

Starlightbright1 · 25/01/2015 20:19

If this is a genuine tummy bug and a chip shop one no not something I would consider giving my child... mostly as I would the one cleaning up and I think they smell rank.

arethereanyleftatall · 25/01/2015 20:20

There was once, apparently, a child intended to be named Donna whom the parents accidentally, apparently, spelt Doner on her birth certificate.
In Birmingham apparently.

RandomNPC · 25/01/2015 20:21

I'd have thought that a typical chip shop kebab would be more likely to cause than cure a dodgy stomach.
