we had a rubbish day today. dd was bored. dp and i both totally stressed out. we need a day out. we are in the south east. have done the main london museums to death.

help me cheer up my 9yo dd.

Or would she be ok with buying something to put in the first one, taking something from there, then putting it in the next one etc?

I took dd to the kids am film club at the vue. £1.75 per ticket. We took snacks from home. Back home for soup and dippy break then out for a walk in the woods.

I have the same problem op. I'm taking inspiration from all these suggestions so thanks for starting this thread

we had a lovely day - thank you for all the suggestions. we did this except in Faversham and it was brilliant. plenty of pubs if we were tempted but im doing dry January so we had tea
and cake instead.

we really needed this change as we are having a bit of a stressful time just now. dd loved it.
