To be pissed off about my birthday?

My sister hasn't sent so much as a text, let alone a card or present. (yes we normally do presents for birthdays ).
I got one or two Facebook messages, including my niece and cousin after 9pm.
On the other hand my lovely work colleagues clubbed together and bought me a lovely bunch of flowers. As they said "at least you have a work family".
I suppose I'm most hurt that I haven't heard from my sister at all.
My mother is in a care home and suffers from dementia so wouldn't be able to remember.

Belated Happy Birthday Ilovesooty! And, if it is you, I always enjoyed your contributions to another well-known professional forum. And, if it IS you... I am also a big blue and we can get skitterish about recent results together. Flowers

Happy belated birthday Thanks

I know you've said that if you didn't bother for your sister she'd certainly mention it, so perhaps this is exactly what you should do for her next birthday. Just get her exactly what she's got you.
