Upset about a surprise trip to Paris?

So my partner has surprised me with a trip to Paris for my birthday.

I was absolutely thrilled.

But I then found out that we will be going there by coach. It's not the fact that its a coach, it's the fact that it will take us 12 hours to get there.

I haven't said anything or moaned to him as obviously its a lovely surprise non the less but aibu to be dreading it slightly?

i came back from Bordeaux on the train to st pancreas and it was a great trip - three hours to paris and then 2 hours to london - we got the train 20 minutes before it left the station and no worrying about baggage weight or size.

Then for the last leg of our journey we got a coach for 2 hours - it was awful the driver wasn't good and we sat with sick bags at the ready.
