Regarding people who don't use their car headlights properly?

This is real bug bear of mine!

For the past few weeks I've been nearly blinded driving to work by people using fog lights when there is no bloody fog and visibility is perfect! This morning there was a thick fog, so thick in fact that you could barely see your hand in front of your face and yet the amount of cars that were either driving without their fog lights on, or had their lights on main beam causing a glare was staggering!

How the hell did these idiots even manage to pass their theory driving tests? It's dangerous FFS. What the hell is wrong with them?

No need for anyone else's advice. I've got it now.

Best bit of advice for when driving at night, don't look at the on coming cars headlights. You would be amazed by how many people do it and don't relise, my step dad was awful. Shouting and flashing his lights all the time, even if they were on dip. I had a row with him over it as he is always right. He came round in the end and I can actually be in the car with him again-knob

I do avert my eyes to look far more away from oncoming headlights. It works for me if there is only one car, or perhaps two, but if it is a whole long stream of them then nothing seems to work.

Ditto with lorries, buses an other particularly large vehicles. Their lights are often just so high up and bright they are dazzling whatever setting they are on.

Mrs T, one other thing to be aware of, don't have full beam lights on when you're driving behind someone else, even on the country roads, the person at the front of the queue has their full lights on, people behind should have dipped lights.

Basically, if you can see someone's rear lights don't put your full beams on (have just had this "little" issue tonight, their lights in my mirror were so bright it was awful).
