AIBU to think this children's picture book is a bit rude and like a junior Jilly Cooper bonkfest or have I got a mucky mind?

"That's not my princess" has the line

"That's not my princess. Her fan is too fluffy" Grin

my MIL has a book she keeps in her loo called 'father christmas needs a wee'. Not quite so 'hidden in plain sight' as these others but still makes me chortle when I see it on my trips to the loo :)

There's a line in princess Polly's potty 'she sits and shits and sits and sits' until a teeny tiny wee tinkles into the potty (or words to the effect)

Quite hard to read it out loud without saying she shits...

Oh my.

BriocheBriocheBrioche · 20/01/2015 20:59

Thats not my fairy..... her hair is too fuzzy!

Noddy theme tune

He'll give you a ride for sixpence then he'll take you home again...

knackered69 · 20/01/2015 23:08

I remember the biff chip and kipper books - there always seemed to be a furtive looking bloke with a moustache lurking in the bushes...

rebelfor · 21/01/2015 00:54

For those who have ''The smartest giant in town'' have a look on the page about ''my shoe is a house for a little white mouse''.

The picture of his dicksock makes me laugh every time I read the story.

blackheartsgirl · 21/01/2015 01:19

Have you all seen the hepatitus building blocks in a Biff, chip and kipper book?

Minty82 · 21/01/2015 19:50

Hedgehog isn't it 'It's sixpence an adventure and he'll take you home again'? Which is slightly less dodgy I'm afraid! DH always sniggers at the squirrel in The Highway Rat - "I just have a sack of nuts"...

MyCarHasBrokenDownAgain · 24/01/2015 20:22

How apt, this has just appeared in my twitter feed Grin

The pervy chap in the biff & chip books is Alex Brichter, I'm led to believe.

CundtBake · 24/01/2015 20:50

DS is fond of 'Maisie's big flap book' Grin
