My cat has a groupie.

My cat is a psycho. Year or so back, she mauled my leg so badly it took three months and five courses of nuclear strength antibiotics to clear up the damage. From then on, I have to wear jeans all the time, no more skirts. If I get up in the night for an old lady pee, I carry a pillow as a 'shield' as legs are what she goes for. My cat loathes everyone, especially small children. My grandkids are more scared of her than they are of the usual pit bull type dogs that menace people where I live. My cat kills much of the wildlife in North London. And she also 'liberated' a neighbour's canary from its cage and brought it in to me for my admiration.

Needless to say, I dearly love my horrible cat.

I think you're in an abusive relationship oldgrandmama. Give that moggy the heave-ho.

Can't post pics. My cat is on the run from the authorities. He has nearly perfected the art of speech and is seen as a threat. I understand every word he says, and he, me.

blueberry, that cat is gorgeous. we have an all black kitten that is 4.5 months old, and after loosing our much loved 17 year old cat before christmas, we adore our new addition to the family.

All your cats are fab but the most gorgeous cat on the planet belonged to me (or rather I belonged to him) - he was huge, cuddly and he had eau de nil (sp?) eyes!

Actually, in for a penny in for a pound –I don't really like Siamese or ragdolls. Giz a good old moggy any day.

Ha. You have not seen mine yet. Their magnificent marvelllousness knows no bounds, and made me late for work this morning as all 3 came for a snuggly cuddle just as I was getting up.

Everyone else is just deluded. Tr-la-la (sticks fingers in ears yelling I CANT HEAR YOU)

And don't get me started on the horses.

Glad to see no one on the thread has a those Sphinx cats. Those truly are the stuff of nightmares.

Each of my 3 thinks they're the fairest of all, but only one of them is. She's the witch's familiar, jet black with glowing green eyes. She smells of flowers and her fur is dense and sleek and beautiful. She is Basement Cat.

If you'd met my cats you'd all be jealous of them. Well, I say "met" but actually they're scared of strangers so you'd be lucky to see a fluffy tail before they jumped a fence or skittered under the bed to hide. But even that fleeting experience would give you the taste for more. A taste they would deny!

Rolo is a bit stupid but also a cat flap savant so I had to shell out £80 for a specially adapted microchip one he couldn't open from the inside when it was locked. He comes for cuddles in the middle of the night and taps at my face with his paw if I sleepily ignore him.

Monty is the floofiest of all floofy cats and glared at me for two months after I adopted them from the rescue centre, refusing to let me touch him and hissing if I looked at him too hard. Then the dam broke and now he chases me around the house for strokes and nibbles on my legs and purrs like an overheating laptop fan.

Oh go on then, twist my arm, after all, they are scrummy too. And believe it or not, just as blooming affectionate at time as the kits, only a tad more awkward! All insist on kisses, and my little one likes to place her nose on mine, and will just stay there for ages. I like to think we're connecting, but she is probably trying to send me images of buckets of carrots.

So, here they are - little chestnut pony who is still only a baby, and great big gallumping retired fat hairy monsters!
