"katie Hopkins" is just a persona- just like Jordan is not Katie Price and I'm sure Jeremy Vile doesnt behave like that at home either. She gets paid to be like that. In RL she's probably just a bit forthright and tactless.

I watched her program the other night, but it seems it was a bit of an own goal- if she really ate 5-6,000 cals per day for 3 months she should have gained about 6 stone. She only gained 3.5. Therefore she's proved that some people (i.e. her) dont put weight on easily and therefore that it's not as simple as she makes out.

Dotty, my thoughts too are I also think that despite her putting on a bravado front, KH is actually quite an insecure person.

I don't think she doesn't have an edit button, I think she is being paying a lot of money to be controversial. On the last Apprentice Alan Sugar said quite a few times that it was an interview for a business venture not an opportunity to get into tv and become a celeb. Quite why he kept her so long I don't know as she was nauseating, but she's made a lot of money out of being nauseating and annoying - I think she is trying to be like Jeremy Clarkson, but she seems to have no sense of humour or irony at all.

Quite, she is a self-publicist, probably low on empathy and spouting bile for attention. I do think she is a Mumsnetter though, (some of the phrases she uses) so she is probably getting material from here

I seem to have missed the KH thing in the past, only heard of her through MN.
I watched her fat programme and was quite surprised by her. Never watched CBB or BB but snuck a look the other day at KH.
I am on the fence now.
I really want to know who she is on MN.

She kept referring to 'norks' and has a thing about children with inappropriate names, sound familiar? I don't like her, but suspect she will be entertaining on CBB

DH was eyeballing her above his paper (again) (he's the one who did A-level's with her) and I was worried he was about to say "you know what I think I might have snogged her/slept with her" but instead he said "darling I can't believe she's only 1 year older than you".
