its 23:12 PM (In case not everyone is in UK), Just settled down for bed, have no DC's but am 21wks pregnant. As I was falling asleep there was a loud crashing and banging sound followed by dubstep music, Me and DP are currently sat up in bed wide awake contemplating going around there guns blazing.
The people living there have been there for 4 days, and in 4 days....
2 teenage daughters of theres (I saw through window) were knocking on my door then running away laughing and screaming nonsense.
One of the youngest children told me I was a stupid fat idiot and the mother just laughed (As opposed to going "Im so sorry, Jim that was a nasty thing to say please apologise!" Like I hope any sane being would) I'm not offended but surely a child should have something said to them when they say these things? As opposed to said child finding it hilarious O.o
One of the daughters screamed that I was an "Alky bitch" Upon me picking up a bottle of shloer in the local shop, Schloer (Sp?) is like a fake wine sort of thing XD, Talk about extreme rudeness.
Also DP pulled up yesterday in the car and found one of the children smearing poop All over our outside window sill.
Feel I'm at my wits end but what can I do really? I dont know who I can complain to (Barr police and I feel i'd just be wasting time when someone could be in real danger) I'm a private tenant but this area is a mix of both private and council so i really dont know whom they are renting from.

Got no sleep last night :( music stopped around 5;30AM and me and dp finally got some sleep, dp has had to take day off work as hes a mechanic and can't risk not only driving for an hour but fixing cars and messing it up as it could cost a life. So now we've lost out on £45 minimum as partner will be docked at the end of the week. grr

isnt the law now that anti social tenants can be evicted within 2 weeks? bet that wahat happened to them before.

absolutley police/council/lanlord, the works.

and env health.

NOW. dont faff about. if they do that in 4 days imagine in another 4 days then another....

what fuckers, they should be jailed yet prob know their way round the system.

Lunastarfish · 07/01/2015 17:05

I bet they are council tenants who have been recently evicted for the same thing. Report them to the council and police asap

desertmum · 07/01/2015 18:06

sounds horrendous - no wise words to add except to agree with others re reporting to police / council and offering a hand to hold. Hope you can get it sorted soon. Congratulations on the baby Smile

SlaggyIsland · 07/01/2015 18:07

Report them. Then start planning to move. Seriously. I know it's an expense you can do without but this will ru in your enjoyment of your home, your life and your mental health.

Nanny0gg · 07/01/2015 18:12

If they're this bad this soon, I bet they've been moved for anti-social behaviour elsewhere.

You should report but start house hunting asap. I know it's not ideal but you may have no choice.

I'm really sorry.

3WiseMenOr1WiseWoman · 07/01/2015 19:11

Move - you can't afford to stay.

newyearsresolutionsnotforme · 07/01/2015 19:35

Report them. To the council, call the Police if they play music that loud past 11pm. Photo and video evidence plus logging, report them to environmental health for the poo smearing and noise.

The parents obviously set the tone for the children. I think all neighbour from hell cunts like them should be forced to live in one place together, as torture for each other.

Complain to your Landlord too and Estate Agent if you rent through them.

Blackout234 · 07/01/2015 19:58

We really really can't afford especially not before the lease is up we will lose our 600 bond and have to pay 975 of rent for the 3 months we wont be here. We're on shy of 800 a month basic income as im self employed so my income varies massively and my partner is on min wage. We cannot afford to lose over 1,500 and then shell out 1,000 on another place for a bond and a months rent upfront we just cant afford it so at most we can scrimp and save until the lease is up

I would wager this month's paycheque they have been evicted for anti-social behaviour.

Call the police when they start fighting and report a domestic disturbance.

'isnt the law now that anti social tenants can be evicted within 2 weeks? bet that wahat happened to them before.'

No, it often takes months if not more.

Sadly, you'll need to move.

expatinscotland · 07/01/2015 20:02

Scrimp to move when the lease is up.

Who is their landlord? And tell yours, too. He/she will take notice once he starts losing tenants and his/her property is devalued because of these thugs.

plinkyplonks · 07/01/2015 20:13

I would phone the police and report them. Completely unacceptable behaviour.

plinkyplonks · 07/01/2015 20:14

BTW - I didn't have to move when I had neighbours from hell. After a visit from Mr Plod they sold their house and left us in peace. We now have fantastic neighbours :)

Icimoi · 07/01/2015 20:24

Have you called environmental health, OP?

newyearsresolutionsnotforme · 07/01/2015 20:57

OP call the Police when the music is loud, it gets recorded as the Operator calls are recorded.

Adarajames · 07/01/2015 21:11

Poor you, I had 2 sets of awful neighbours do know how you feel!
The worst was finally evicted after just over a year as a tenant; if they are social housing tenants, then the quicker you get complaints in the better as it's far easier for them to be evicted on the starter tenancy all sh start on than once they've got a longer term tenancy agreement.
Def log everything, call environmental health, housing department, letting agent or owner if not sh, and the police as often as you need to, will all help to get them evicted if they continue beg such utter fuckwits! Hope for your sake it improves rapidly x

Trenzalore · 17/01/2015 17:36

Update, OP?

TerraNovice · 17/01/2015 17:53

Judging by some other posts by OP there were some issues with her landlord and DH and she has now moved out.

Trenzalore · 17/01/2015 18:45

okay, thanks.
