to think that if you're pregnant enough to have symptoms you should be pregnant enough to get a BFP?

Just that really. I have 2 days until my period is due. I have had over a week of achey cramps, 2 days of light spotting which I assume is implantation, I'm falling asleep most afternoons, I've gone off wine and fizzy drinks. I am so very sure I'm pregnant, i don't feel this way normally, only the other two times I've been pregnant.

except that this morning I got a BFN.

Surely if I can be having all these symptoms I should have a BFP by now?!

YANBU. I have one DS, and since have had four pregnancies that that haven't continued. I know I am pregnant almost immediately upon implantation. I can't explain how I know, not the "normal symptoms" - and when questioned by a doctor "tender breasts, nausea?" I said "no. I just know" she looked at me like I was a complete loon. When you know you know. And the waiting for a BFP is SO frustrating.

I was having symptoms for a week before I actually got my BFP. I was shattered every day, I was constantly weeing and my boobs looked bigger but I still didn't get my BFP until the day my period was due despite having tested for the previous 3-4 days.

Did you get your period op?

I got a faint positive on the sunday but then had bad cramping and AF turned up on the Monday night unfortunately.

although at least I know my mind and body weren't playing tricks, its just this time it wasn't to be.
