Over the past month or two I've noticed several posters putting a x at the end of posts.

I keep having it check I'm definitely in the right place...

Best get rid of these then too, WineBrewCakeFlowersBiscuit.
Lordy, signs of compassion are clearly a travesty and you'll be burnt at the stake.
x

I think it's the not using it as sign of compassion that's objectionable xx

When I do it on texts- and I usually do- I mean it as "over and out" xx

EhricJinglingHisBallsOnHigh · 30/12/2014 09:38

It's when they are used as punctuation that it winds me up x kisses are not full stops and it makes the writer look gormless to keep inserting kisses in their text x
Don't you think x

I get them in business emails asking me for a price quote.

And ending in

x

When I come across xxx I don't see a row of kisses, I see triple x rated!
