i just spoke to a friend i hadnt seen in a while and was told that the house I live in now (have done for 6 weeks) was once a crime scene. A young girl between the ages of 18-25 (dont wanna give too much away) was murdered here while 7months pregnant.
AIBU to not want to live here anymore?:( We're considering moving anyway but now i really dont want to live here.

What Viva said.

I see why it's upsetting you. But as others have said people die all over the place.

OP my home was a crime scene once too. I don't even think about it and I;m quite fanciful!

YABU. In my student house, we discovered after living there a few weeks that it was where the body of one of the Yorkshire Ripper victims had been left after he had murdered her. We found out when we came home to a camera crew by the back door Hmm

It made no difference though, I said a prayer for her and we got on with it. Move if you want, but unless you go somewhere brand new, who knows what's happened in the next house? Or on the land the house is built on?

Wouldn't bother me if I didn't know the people involved.

The place where I felt the worst and I safest is where former drug dealers had lived. I'll take a house where someone died any day.

was the murderer brought to justice?

YANBU to dislike living in a house or even area for whatever reason. Better to move then try to doggedly hang on when the place makes you uncomfortable.
