I am, I'm fat as fuck. I look like someone has taken a bicycle pump to me!
I stopped smoking several months ago and haven't stopped eating since
Xmas has just been an excuse to go through the fridge and cupboards like Pacman on speed!
Went to a do last night and felt like a badly upholstered couch in my frock so have decided new year new me!
What are your plans?

Me. I'm fat as fuck too. Got a dog a few months ago so am walking at least twice a day now but I am going to do couch to 5k I think. Hate being this size.

ToffeeCaramel · 28/12/2014 15:04

Yes I am. I'll rejoin slimming world as it works well for me when I do it. Not until the new year though. Meanwhile I'll continue to eat, drink and be merry. Smile

Ovary congrats to your son! I wasn't going to splash out on lighter life, but a cheap one from tesco! Yet another Blush

I do realise 99% of achieving anything is getting your head in the right place, which I'm trying to get mine in!

TheFourthLobster · 28/12/2014 15:10

Me; I started one a few months ago, did really well (3 stone...) and it's crept back on again. Bastard fat....

ElizabethHoover · 28/12/2014 15:11

i am going to watch ol Hoppo Hopkins this friday. I find the whole idea more than a bit interesting
i know
sorry and all

wasitsomethingisaid · 28/12/2014 15:11

Put down the food and jog on the spot for half a minute. Then drink some water. Then jog on the spot again. Then walk out of the kitchen.

You CAN do it!

wasitsomethingisaid · 28/12/2014 15:12

Also don't sit down on the sofa, stand. That will also help.

I have 2 stone to lose and even though I have been dieting and exercising it does not want to shift. I've decided to try harder and not give in.

WhyTheFace · 28/12/2014 15:15

No ipodge this year then Elizabeth?

FFSletmechangemyname · 28/12/2014 15:18

It can be done, this time last yr I was fat too.

Now I'm 3 stone lighter a size 10 and go the gym 5-6 times a week.

However my diet has been rubbish of late so I will also be starting healthy eating again. Maybe In a couple of days x

ElizabethHoover · 28/12/2014 15:19

Gileswithachainsaw · 28/12/2014 15:31

can any one honestly say the wii fit helps?

I'm not confident enough to go out running

Trills · 28/12/2014 15:45

It is not unreasonable to ask this in general, no.

It is unreasonable to ask this in AIBU, yes.

Did that help?

No, it didn't.

If people telling you whether you are being reasonable or not does not actually gve you what you want then AIBU is not the place for your thread.

You don't want to know if it is reasonable to ask.

You want to discuss the diets that people are going on.

whats4teamum · 28/12/2014 15:50

Me too.
Plan is Fitbit, my fitness pal, spiralizer low carb.

26Point2Miles · 28/12/2014 15:52

That second line made no sense trills

fatlazymummy · 28/12/2014 16:00

giles yes, the wii fit can help. That's what I started on, over 3 years ago. I did an hour a day. I mostly did the aerobics and muscle workouts with a little bit of yoga, and after 3 months I had better cardio and coordination ,and I felt ready to go back to swimming.
Personally I think any movement is better than none. Of course wii fit isn't as effective as a 2 hour workout in the gym with Jillian Michaels shouting at you, but it's a darn sight better than laying on the settee eating marbars. Go for it Xmas Grin

Gileswithachainsaw · 28/12/2014 16:09

I always wanted to do kick boxing but I'm. clumsy as fuck so.thats out Grin

ovaryhill · 28/12/2014 16:13

Trills, have you been sniffing Pritt Sticks again? Grin

I would LOVE 2 hours in the gym with JM shouting at me!
